Tibet Entry Permit Tibet Entry Permit — It is issued by Tibet Tourism Bureau and is a must for foreigners entering Tibet;If you fly to Tibet,you need to show the original Tibet Entry Permit when check in and go through security.If you take train,a copy of the Tibet Entry Permit is require. Please note:Tibet Entry Permit has 2 pages, page 1 indicates the information of Chinese travel agency and itinerary,page 2 indicates the travelers’ information. Since the government encourages group tours to Tibet, the permit is issued only to tour groups traveling with a Chinese tour operator. For those overseas visitors want to go to the region as an individual, please consult the administrative offices of Tibet Tourism Bureau in Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu (in Sichuan) and Golmud (in Qinghai)
